Fine specimen displaying Cinnabar crystals sitting atop Dolomite on matrix! Both Cinnabars are sharp with great crystal form and lustrous, red surfaces. Both measure just shy of 2 cm in size and they sit aesthetically atop the cream-colored Dolomite saddlebacks. When I place a spotlight next to each Cinnabar crystal, they light up, displaying translucent to almost transparent interiors and glow a rich, intense red color. Well preserved and in excellent condition. From the Tongren Mine, Tongren Co., Tongren Prefecture, Guizhou Province, China. Measures 4.8 cm by 8.5 cm by 3 cm in total size.
